The most important International Exhibition and Congress of the Naval Industry, ExpoNaval 2022, is already in full swing for its new version to be held between November 29 and December 2, at the Valparaiso Port Passenger Terminal, in the Valparaiso Region. The International Naval Industry Exhibition and Congress for Latin America 2022 will be held in an extended space of 14.5 thousand square meters, seeking to be a meeting point for representatives of Navies from more than 35 countries, promoting innovations and technological solutions in naval defense. It should be noted that the fair will have more than 160 exhibiting companies, will have more than 500 business meetings and expects to receive 35 thousand professional visitors. The international meeting will seek to provide a space between the supply and demand of the industry, establishing commercial relations and contact networks, in addition to publicizing the innovation and development of the sector. “Faced with the naval and maritime scenario, this fair is presented as an opportunity for Latin American countries to bring together so many exponents of the field in one place, including naval institutions, technology and service providers, where business relationships and networking that will help the progress of each nation are established, said Francisco Sotomayor, general manager of Fisa. The defense fair, considered the most important in Latin America, is organized by FISA, of the GL Events Group, and contemplates a meeting space between the Latin American Navies, Europe, America, Asia, Oceania and exhibitors of the world defense industry, shipyards, technology, security, telecommunications, among others. This exhibition is supported by the Chilean Navy, which will participate in this new version as a sponsor of the event. It is worth mentioning that the Commander in Chief, Andrés De La Maza, headed the launching ceremony of the fair, held in the city of Valparaíso in September 2021. The event aims to reaffirm the important role of the naval industry in Chile, to show local developments of goods, products and services oriented to the industry, to introduce to the market new technologies not available in Chile, to exchange experiences, technologies and international developments with local agents, and to deliver effective solutions to the navies of Latin America. CONGRESS For its new version, Exponaval will present various topics in its international congress, which will have as its central theme “The challenges for a maritime condition in the 21st Century”, which will begin on Wednesday, November 30.
