During the upcoming ExpoNaval 2022 fair to be held in Valparaiso between November 29 and December 2, it has been confirmed that during the International Congress “The Challenges for a Maritime Condition in the 21st Century”, to be held on November 30, the master class will be given by Professor James Holmes. Professor Holmes holds the J.C. Wylie Chair of Maritime Strategy at the Naval War College in the United States. He previously served in the School of Public and International Affairs at the University of Georgia, and is a retired U.S. Navy officer. In 1994 he received the Naval War College Foundation Award. His books include “A Brief Guide to Maritime Strategy” and “Red Star over the Pacific” (co-authored). He is also a Senior Fellow of the Chilean think tank ATHENALAB, an institute specializing in Foreign Affairs, Security and Defense.
