At the twenty-second edition of the International Air and Space Fair (FIDAE), which brought together defense and security exponents from 45 countries, important international consortiums with recognition in Latin America committed their attendance to ExpoNaval 2022. On site and as exhibitors, representatives of ExpoNaval 2022 informed all the details of what will be the XII Exhibition and the most important International Congress of the Naval industry in Latin America. In response, several people came to the stand to learn about the activities and the development of the event. Representatives of large consortiums such as Airbus, Leonardo Italia, Thales, Lockheed Martin, Rafael, IAI, among others, expressed their interest in being present at the next edition of the main naval, defense and security exhibition in Latin America, to be held between November 29 and December 2, at the Passenger Terminal of the Port of Valparaiso, It was detailed that the International Exhibition and Congress of the Naval Industry for Latin America 2022 will be held in an extended space of 14.5 thousand square meters, will have more than 160 exhibiting companies, will have more than 500 business meetings and expects to receive 35 thousand professional visitors. It was also highlighted that the International Congress entitled “The Challenges for a Maritime Condition in the 21st Century” will be a meeting point for representatives of Navies from more than 35 countries, which will promote innovations and technological solutions in naval defense, shipbuilding and maritime security, among others. The executive director of ExpoNaval, Rodrigo Lobo, indicated that “today we have great expectations in terms of attendance. This will be one of the largest maritime defense and security events in terms of participation, with the presence of armed forces, supplier companies and industry professionals from various countries. Therefore, we invite everyone to be part of this great international fair and congress”. ExpoNaval will reaffirm the role of the Chilean Navy, showcase local developments in goods, products and services for the industry, introduce new technologies not available in Chile, exchange experiences, technologies and international developments, and provide effective solutions to Latin American navies. The defense fair, considered the most important in Latin America, is organized by FISA, of the GL events Group, and contemplates a meeting space between the Latin American Navies, Europe, America, Asia, Oceania and exhibitors of the world defense industry, shipyards, technology, security, telecommunications, among others.
